Shhhhhh! Don't say it too loud, just in case this little (or not-so-little) birdie is close by. He's probably the only one who doesn't know it, but Thanksgiving is less than a week away!

We have wild turkeys in our area and I see them from time to time crossing the road. Funny... they all go into hiding from early November until just after the New Year. Do you think they know?
ReplyDeleteOh that really IS the sweetest illustration. We used to see wild turkeys at our old house -- they'd hang out on our neighbors' roof and drive our spaniels WILD. The dogs could see the birds through a picture window in the living room, but the birds just ignored the frantic barking.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at your "promise" to come steal this house. Good luck! It's perched on the side of a hill and we're lucky we don't slide off in a heavy rain!
I am still amazed that we found this house, and were able to buy it -- I never get over that feeling of how lucky I am. But when Howard was out of work for so long earlier this year, and I told him, "we can always move to an less expensive area, a smaller house," I also knew that what really makes a home are the people in it.
Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. We have a smaller crowd this year and I'm looking forward to that!
ReplyDeleteYes! That is a very sweet illustration! I hope this Thanksgiving turns out to be a good one. :) I want to feel..."normal" again..you know?
