There are times when life just ups and taps you on the shoulder and says, "Hey, dummy, it's as clear as it can possibly be that you should (...whatever...). Wake up!" Well, as I was reading my favorite blogs today, I had one of those times!
As you might expect, it is as plain as the noses on Mt. Rushmore, I was destined to join the meme....
Mellow Yellow is a song....Mellodee musings....yellow, my fav.....tomorrow is Monday! Surely I can find a photo with some yellow in it and join the parade, right????

Spring 2010 was a BIG year for wildflowers in Texas! |
So, there you have it, my 1st contribution to Mellow Yellow Monday!
http://mellowyellowmonday.blogspot.com/ Not too bad for a crummy photographer, huh? They call me "Mellow Yellow"! :)
Wow. Beautiful flower of the cactus. Beautiful photos
ReplyDeleteWow! Being from the midwest and not an expert on all things flora, I was amazed at the picture of the cactus blooming! Do they actually bloom different colors on the same plant? How interesting and, by the way, great shots of nature at its finest!
ReplyDeleteHi Mellodee, Thank you for stopping by and leaving your warm thoughts and good wishes for me and my Frank. We have a tough road ahead but feel all will turn out well. It feels good to be able to visit my blogger friends once again.I am looking forward to the high speed Internet I will be able to get once I move. I have been catching up reading your blog and love your wit and wisdom. I think your Mellow Yellow Monday will be fun to follow. You did a good job for the first try. Yellow is not an easy color to find.It will be interesting to see what you will find. There has been a few of these type of postings I would like to join in on but my computer is not reliable. Soon, very soon it will be:)Dee
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. That bloom on the cactus is beautiful. laurie
ReplyDeleteYour first contribution and it was a great one. It's so good to see green in place of this blasted white, white white. You live in the right spot for year round photos. I'm with you. You do some more, girl.
ReplyDeleteLove and Peace
Great photos!
